I started playing piano when I was 8 and went on to the Royal Academy of Music at 12 studying piano and clarinet.This knocked classical music out of my system so I took up guitar which, at the time, I preferred playing but I soon realized that there were too many better guitarists than me about so I stuck to keys!

After appearing on “New Faces” back in ….well a good few years ago.. I joined a band called Mantilla and for 20 years we played with many 60’s bands such as the Tremoloes,Gerry & the Pacemakers, the Swinging Blue Jeans …etc.

I now play with The Late Shift and enjoy the varied repertoire and the quality of the musicianship.
