Welcome to Steve Earl on keys who completes the line-up for The Late Shift.
In Steve’s own words:-
I actually started playing guitar at the age of 16 but never really progressing past playing Apache and realising there were to many good guitarists around i took up playing the piano at the tender age of 22 where i managed to progress up to grade 6.
My early influences were Elton John, Elton John and Elton John.
Eventually i started to listen to Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder and a few others, my favourite type of music is pop/rock.
I started my own function band with my wife Shelia in the 80s but this folded after about 15years together (the band!).
By day I drive a London black cab and travel all over unless its south of the river of course.
I recently joined the late shift and was very impressed by the professionalism of the way the band is run, and the standard of musicians in the band, everyone is friendly and easy to get on with.
